this year sam and i celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary (not 5, like my nurse at maternity health center thought- assuming that we had if we had been married longer we'd of had more kids). we went out to dinner (terrible service, fairly good food) the night before, because on our anniversary we knew we wanted to spend it as a family.
so to celebrate all we had done in our 8 years, we took our family to the sacramento zoo and the sacramento train museum.
here's the zoo:
watching the flamingos- mason kept saying how much she loved them
studying our map to see where we'd go next
playing on zoo structures
watching from his seat
more climbing
stuck in a web
our pretty flower
catching a glimpse at some fish
this big mama tiger just jumped our right in front of us (well that glass that is)
giraffes.
taking a turn riding in front
if it doesn't have a tail its not a monkey, if it doesn't have a tail its not a monkey its an ape!
helping dad push the stroller
pretty girl
funny girl
we randomly ran into my godmother and her daughter kristen (and her 3 kids, all home from africa) and her daughter in-law (and her 3 kids) and kristen was kind (and smart) enough to snap a family photo for us.
