this little boy is so stinkin' cute. unfortunately he has developed a habit of wanting to be held or rocked or laid with to fall asleep. with campbell and mason we didn't tolerate this at all. however, we also had a room to stick them in when they fussed.

well, we don't really have a room for henry. and he is doing more than fussing. he is screaming so loud. so loud that i wonder if people passing on the street are going to call the authorities.

oh well. when i pick him up he gets as angelic as he looks in these pictures, like his looks almost promise that if i don't put him down he will be perfect.

what's a couple of restless, sleepless night? i mean- look how big Campbell already is!

Some one's putting his peeps AND poops in the potty! Sorry for the bluntness of this post, but we are SO EXCITED here!

Campbell is very proud of himself, and is stopping what he does to run to the bathroom to use the potty. It all happened so fast. One day we were battling the issue of number 2, and the next thing we knew he just decided to simply start using the potty. And he did it while on the family reunion!

We still have to cross into using the potty at other places, and using the potty without the potty seat... but someday we will be there!

Family Reunion

This last weekend we met up with the Nies side of the family at Lake of the Woods (although i believe it could be renamed Lake of the Mosquitoes) for the Nies Family Reunion.

It was awfully warm, and the mosquitoes were flying like madness, and Mason was still a little sick.

But we had a pretty good time!

The car drive up was a little rough, however the drive home went much smoother (both Henry and Mason snoozed for 3 hours straight)

It was really fun watching Campbell run around after "the cousins" and Mason was everyone's sweetheart. I had my best ever game at Settlers (sorry Jess and Sam) and the food was great, great, great (Donna, you still owe me a brie). I had a lot of smores. I love smores.

It was a really great time, and has sprung the camping bug in Sam. We've now planned 3 more camping trips (although we won't be staying in a snazzy cabin for these trips!)

Looking forward to the next reunion, in cooler Fort Bragg.

4 months.

Can you believe this? How did my baby get so big, so fast?

4 months old. So sad.

But he is just the sweetest baby ever. Laughing and smiling, always watching his brother and sister, and trying to roll all the time.

Hello everyone, just a little message here to let you all know that we are currently up in Oregon, at the Nies's extended family reunion. We are actually returning today, and i am going to need a couple of days to get some more posts ready... so be patient- i will return!

i promise these pictures were not staged. i dressed mason in this wonderful little orphan annie dress, and she she found this hat that had been lying around their room. well, little miss mason wanted to wear this hat all day long. it was really too cute- both her being such a girl by wanting to wear the hat all day, and how cute the hat looked with the dress. i am bummed some of the pictures didn't turn out great- the flash was being quirky, but her smiles were so cute, i had to post them regardless of the quality!
