Campbell still wants to hold Henry all the time. I hear him talking to Henry about holding him. Campbell will even ask me to put Henry down so that he can hold his little brother.
"is that my brother?" is what i hear out of Campbell's mouth, all the time.
just wait until Henry can crawl, then walk, then run- he's going to be chasing after his big brother and sister.
i love this man. he works hard for our family. he listens to me talk about sometimes stupid things. he helps with the dishes when i can't stand the sight of one more. he makes our kids laugh harder than anyone else. he cuddles and loves us all. he is self-sacrificing on everything- especially sleep. he is a wonderful father, and i am so thankful that i have him in my life.
you are not mistaken- that is Campbell's nigh nigh's in the picture- on top of Henry for that matter. Campbell is such a sweet brother. Lately, whenever i lay Henry down under this mat, Campbell will stop what he's doing, run to get his nigh nigh's and crawl under the mat with his little brother. He gets close up to his face, talking to him. But most importantly, he pulls his nigh nigh's up close to his little brother.
this is huge- Campbell is a true Linus. And this is a true act of love.
i swear- this girl just loves to read! i am constantly finding her in this little nook of the house, flipping through pages- plus she changes the inflection of her voice to do different voices. she is truly a sweet child... my little reader.
ps- her big brother Campbell is also a champion reader...he just happened to be watching Curious George when this shot was captured!
she sure does love books. she can't help herself. this is how i recently found her: she had moved the rocking chair up close to the bookshelf so that she could easily reach her books (the hardback books that are on a low shelf) and read in peace.
why in peace? cause her big brother was busy watching curious george. that's right, she prefers books in silence over the tv. what an example we should all follow!
