May 4th.

i'm calling May 4th the day Henry first smiled.  He'd been making smiley like faces, but this day will stick into my mind.

i was holding little Henry up to my chest, and Sam was sitting in a chair next to us.  i pulled Henry off my chest and went to turn him towards Sam, and as i did i said, "look Henry, its Daddy".

and Henry gave off the sweetest smile that stretched from ear to ear, giving his daddy his "first" official smile.
